To qualify for this funding program, the developer team must be owned and operated by 50 % of the African origin person/entity living inside or outside of the continent. This allows those Game Developers who are not signed previously with any other publisher for a specific game. Humble Games also allows to self-publish the game while supporting the developer team with the startup fund. The submissions currently are not restricted to any such particular genre, audience, or platform. So this is definitely a great starting point for the Game Developers from the African Continent to delve into the ocean of Game Development.
