Rocket League now Free-to-Play, Reaches 1 Million Concurrent Players

Know the details of Rocket League going Free-To-Play and it’s availability on stores.

Rocket League has now become Free-To-Play, bringing in a lot of players into the amazing Vehicular Soccer game. Due to the easy access of the game, Rocket League has reached a 1 Million Concurrent Players milestone in just one day after it’s launch. This detail was announced by Psyonix Studio Co-Head Corey Davis on his Twitter Handle.

The Epic Games-owned Studio had been in talks for releasing the Rocket League Free-To-Play, however, upon the release of the Free-To-Play version, Rocket League has been taken down from the Steam Store and is only available on the Epic Games store. Epic Games is also providing a $10 Epic Store Coupon to the players picking it up on Epic Games Store for spending on any other Game. The existing Steam users, however, can still play Rocket League from their Steam version of the game but need to link the Steam Version to their Epic Account. They will also continue to get updates although the Store Page for Rocket League is not available to new players for downloading the game via Steam.
